When it comes to drumming, Joshua lives by a very simple standard- The song comes first. He understands that his role is to serve the song and the artist.
The main purpose of covering this song is to get you to listen to more Tegan and Sara.... Their new album "Heart throb" is a breath of fresh air to pop music! I couldn't help but want to play along with it, just as you won't able to help but move your feet.... Hope you enjoy what you hear! Now go buy the album.
(I share no rights or ownership of this song whatsoever) Joshua Thompson performing a drum cover of Kimbra's "Settle Down" (No auto tune or click track were used during this performance) ..... Special thanks to producer Randy Beasterfield of "Beast Recordings" and Jace Nelson of "Kinetic Productions" for all of their amazing work and patience!! We hope you enjoy what you hear!
This was a fun project for me!... What you'll hear is thanks to Randy Beasterfield. What you'll see is thanks to Jace Nelson.... I'm just the guy in the middle making all the goofy faces... This is what makes time fly by for me, and I hope you enjoy what you hear! Sincerely, Josh Thompson
While Joshua Thompson is based in Salt Lake City,Utah he loves to travel, so a performance in your city is well within reach !
